The Dixon Clan was registered with Clans of Ireland in January 2013.
Our vision is to promote the rich history and identity of the Dixons of Meath who have lived in Ireland since Edward Dixon (1516 – 1559).
Through marriage the Dixons of Meath count Dukes, Earls, Barons as well as many none titled but noteable historic figures amongst their ranks.
Originally a sept of the Scottish Clan Keith, the Dixons of Meath have an established history in Ireland going back over 600 years. This site provides a wealth of information on the rich history of this family and well as helping to connect Dixons in Ireland and around the world.
