Thursday the 28th of May 2015 was an historic day for Clan Dixon of Meath when clan Chief, Michael Dixon and his wife Marian along with Clan Administrator, Derek Dixon-Byrne were presented to President Micheal D. Higgins at Aras an Uachtarain.
All three were at the Aras as part of a delegation from Clans of Ireland who were invited by their Patron, President Higgins, to celebrate 25 years since the formation of the organisation.
